As of 1 January 2022, the Federal Customs Administration (FCA) will become the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCOBS). This organisational development will enable the FCA to react quickly and flexibly to changes of the situation and thus contribute significantly to Switzerland's security.
The renaming of the FCA to the FOCOBS affects not only new mail addresses for customs employees and a new website, but also the customs applications. The changes are gradually being made since the fourth quarter of 2021.
On the part of the customs trader, no adjustments are necessary within the scope of the FCA renaming.
